Delta, specifically
Delta's population is about 125,000, and it's really three quite different communities under one name: Ladner is a well-preserved old fishing and farming village; Tsawwassen sits up on the coastal bluffs, home to the BC Ferries terminal for Victoria and Nanaimo; North Delta is the densest of the three and one of the region's largest South Asian communities. Most of the land is farmland, the Burns Bog peatland, or tidal flats, so it hasn't been built out the way neighbouring cities have.
