The District of North Vancouver's population is about 88,000 (2021 census), covering a much larger area than the City of North Vancouver — running from the waterfront up into the mountainside. Neighbourhoods like Deep Cove and Lynn Valley sit below Grouse and Seymour mountains, and detached homes with a view are the main draw here, with a somewhat longer commute than the City side.
